Ray Steinhauser, M.D.

Dr. Raymond Steinhauser, M.D. is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, is board certified in Anesthesiology, and is a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) for the FAA.  Along with his wife Susan Steinhauser, RN, the focus of their business is aviation medical exams.  This allows them to handle a large volume of patients seeking medical certificates and provides them with the vast experience necessary to handle complex aeromedical issues. 

 

Dr. Steinhauser and his wife are both pilots, and together are aircraft owners.  Dr. Steinhauser is also a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI).

 

Dr. Steinhauser has offices at Ashland County Airport (3G4), Lorain County Airport (KLRP), and is currently working on opening an office here Stow/Kent, Ohio to better serve the needs of the local aviation communities. 

 

As a former USAF Flight Surgeon and currently a civilian AME, Dr. Steinhauser brings his passion and expert aeromedical knowledge to the field of aviaiton.
