Biography:

Ciro Attardo began flying General aviation aircraft in 1983 when his best friend became a CFI.  After graduating from College in 1984, he attended Law School.

While at law school he realized that he didn't have a passion for law, so Ciro applied to the Air Force for Pilot training.  He Joined the US Air Force in November of 1985 and graduated from UPT (Pilot Training) in 1987.  Ciro flew the Lockheed C-141 Starlifter from May 1987 until July 2004, when his Unit transitioned to the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III.

Ciro was hired at UPS in January of 1995 where he flew the Boeing 727 as a  First Officer for 9 years.  He then upgraded to Captain
on the Douglas DC-8 in June of 2004.  In 2009 Ciro transitioned to the
Boeing 757/767 fleet and that is what he's currently flying.

In 2014 Ciro retired from the Air Force Reserves after 28 years of service to our country.

He welcomes any questions about Cargo Operations, International Flying, and Military Flying.

Ciro Attardo's son, Rocco Attardo recently earned his Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Certificate through Kent State University's flight program and was recently hired to be one of the University's premier Flight Instructors.
